This June, the Twins of Faith Annual Conference returns to Melbourne for the 9th consecutive year! We invite you to come & immerse yourself with lessons from the most faithful generation from the sacred city of Madinah over 2 full days!

 In addition to international lecturers and entertainers, the conference will feature the usual full array of attractions including a dedicated Mothers Room, Kids full day workshops, bazaar with Muslim businesses from around Australia, Halal Food zone with caterers from around Melbourne and much more!

    This conference will give an insight into some of the amazing aspects of life that made the Madeenan chapter of Islamic history so incredible. We will delve into some pivotal moments of life in post Hijrah Madeenah and see how its inhabitants shaped the future of Islam and how that can be a lesson for us today. The prelude to the hijrah, life in Makkah that lead to the migration, this lecture will take us back over 1400 years to where it all began.

    The migration of the Prophet (SAW) from Makkah to Madeenah was a tremendous journey fraught with danger. Discover some of the lessons we learn en route and his much anticipated arrival into Madeenah that was followed by his memorable inaugural speech.

    The tribes of Aws and Khazraj were mortal enemies engulfed in years of warfare and bloodshed against each other.     This panel discussion will focus on current issues facing Australian Muslims. In recent times, the rise of Islamophobic attacks in everyday life has made it challenging for Muslims to confidently practise aspects of their faith. Those who face the brunt of this bigoted behaviour are often the Muslims who visibly show signs of practising Islam – especially women in Hijab. A negative consequence of this has been that some Muslims are not confident or too embarrassed to show any signs of practising their faith in the public sphere. How do we continue contributing meaningfully to society without compromising the laws of Islam? How do we respond to the haters in a constructive way?

In one such incident, Abu Sufyan was summoned to the court of Heracles to explain the character and teachings of Muhammad (SAW). The questions he was asked and the answers he gave impressed Heracles greatly. Reflect on what kind of honest answers we would get from those asked about Muslims today.

    The whole journey from Makkah to Madeenah was dramatic and full difficult moments but Allah was the most generous to have blessed them for their efforts and persistence. Likewise, Ramadan offers many gifts to those who strive for its fruits. Learn how to maximise worship in the Blessed month of Ramadan to make it the most productive Ramadan ever.

    Visiting the City of the Prophet (SAW) is a beautiful and emotionally charged journey. In this session, the panel of speakers will share their most memorable moments in visiting Madeenah and leave some parting advice for Ramadan.

Budding Artists Competition

It’s time to pull out your colors, be inspired and start drawing stories from the sacred city of Madinah – a city and an era that fills up our minds with awe, respect and longing! Stories about trees in Jannah, heart warming selflessness, of a city that lived and took every breath with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions.

Little Explorers World

Engage the children in a productive environment at the Twins of Faith conference. Little Explorer World is the ideal program for kids age 5 to 8. Activities include games, arts & craft, story telling, creative thinking, leisure corner, science show, balloon twisting & more!

1. For kids age 5 (born in 2010) to age 8 (born in 2007).
2. Register at the counter.

Mum’s Retreat

Mothers can relax in privacy in a dedicated mother’s lounge with live audio and video streaming of the conference. There are range of spoils including massages, herbal and beauty products and much more! Mum’s Retreat comprises of a Reading Corner, Baby’s Facilities, Massages, Play Corner and more.
